So it’s time for your trial and how can you best be prepared?

Makeup preparation: For the best success of our trial I recommend arriving with clean makeup free skin and lashes. This helps us have more time to spend on your makeup application. Drink plenty of water prior to your appointment ( especially the week of) to help clarify, hydrate and plump the skin to give you a healthy glow. You may even consider a facial a week prior to your appointment. Your makeup will only look as good as you skin is. Removal of any facial hair is recommended to be done a week in advance if waxing.

If you have eye sensitivity such as watery eyes, a recommendation of a antihistamine the day of your trial can be very helpful and make eye makeup application a breeze!
I work soley from my makeup kit. I do not use makeup provided by clients as my products are for professional use and are specifically meant to achieve photo ready finish. The only exception made is for lip color or lipgloss preferred.
Due to sanitary reasons I cannot take anyone who is sick so as not to contaminate my makeup kit. I kindly request your appointment to be rescheduled to another convenient time.
Guests are welcome to come to your appointment but are asked to wait in the lobby area during your trial run. Hovering can be distracting to the artist and disturb other stylists and clients within the salon.
Hair preparation: It is recommended to arrive with your hair washed the night before your trial. When washing avoid applying conditioner directly on the base of your hair (roots) and focus on the mid-length and ends of your hair. Blown out smooth with a round brush, without flat ironing is preferred. Please do not flat iron the hair prior to your trial, this can make adding curl difficult.
If you find your hair type to get on oily cast within a 24 hour period my recommendation would be to wash your hair the morning of your trial and avoiding conditioner and any additional product.
If you have a curly hair type and unless you wish to wear in its natural state please have your hair blown out smooth with a round brush in preparation for your trial.
Add on services are optional such as a blowout – shampoo & style prior to your trial for an additional cost. (See salon services page)
Remember to bring any hair pieces and to wear a shirt similar in color to your wedding dress to get an idea of your full look.
Your wedding day awaits and we truely hope to give you the best experience possible!
